Hyundai Casper

The Hyundai Casper is arguably the cutest car unveiled last year that isn’t headed this way. That is why we keep a close eye on what happens to the Casper and now we are introduced to the Casper Van.

Hyundai managed to get their hands together when it pulled the curtain on the Casper in September. The tiny yet adventurously designed Hyundai is (for now) only intended for the home market and we secretly think that’s a shame. In terms of design, the only 3.61 meter long crossover would fit neatly next to the larger Hyundais that are available here.

Well, it’s not that kind of party. Still, we can’t let the Casper Van pass the nose of our valued readers. Hyundai has managed to turn it into a pretty smart pack donkey. The complete rear seat is missing and instead you have a flat load floor and – now it comes – 940 liters of cargo space. That’s not crazy at all. To ensure that loose cargo does not knock out the windows, Hyundai has placed steel brackets all around. Finally, the Casper Van stands on black steel wheels that fit perfectly with a car that has to prove itself mainly in a practical sense and not so much with its appearance.
